Why
did you choose Maven Language Center?
In December I decided to improve my English
as in the next year I would leave Korea and have to look for a new job
opportunity. Improving my English will be a good investment and in the same
time make reading and communicating in English more easy. My colleague advised
me Maven, as she and her husband had good experiences.
What
have you learned from Maven?
In just 24 lessons l improved my vocabulary
and I learned via the topic lessons about many interesting subjects such as
hurricanes, 3D printing, fake food in China and many more. Added to this, I got
valuable comments on my pronunciation. Some other things I learned: - No matter
your age (I'm only 49 years young) you can improve your language rather quickly
as long as you are
motivated and study in a structured way. -
Some Koreans told me when I entered Korea, that it is difficult for Korean's to
learn English. But the fluency of Korean and American teachers are a clear
example to me that Korean genes are not hindering the ability to learn the
English language at all.
What
are the great advantages of studying in Maven?
The great advantages of studying in Maven,
is that it provides a structured and fun way of learning. The lessons are
scheduled by the students, so students can learn at the times and days that
they have time. As long as you do 2 lessons in average per week.
What
do you appreciate the most in Maven?
The enthusiasm of the teachers and staff
were motivating me to continue. Although the instructions on the website were a
bit hard, as they are mostly in Korean, I found my way quickly with the kind
help of the front and back office.
